I’m an experience consumer product lead and team builder. My specialties include short-form vertical video, product strategy, defining early stage efforts, launching successful products, building and managing product teams, and refining the product development process. Currently I'm the product lead for YouTube Stories (beta) where we’re focused on video fully native to the phone.
Before Google I was the product lead for Snapchat stories at Snap, Inc. During my time at Snap I also shipped a new toolset that enables Discover publisher to tell their story (see "publisher tools" in the S-1), voting, and campus publisher stories.
Prior to Snap, I was the product lead for Tweets at Twitter. Tweets was a team responsible for a large portion of Twitter’s functionality including the overall anatomy of Tweets and the composer. Some of our team’s launches include GIF search, stickers, polls, changes to the structure of Tweets and conversations, and making tweets longer (which shipped after my departure).
Academically, I've studied a wide range of subjects and hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, a Masters in Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MBA from Rollins College.
